The 2021 annual trading results of CEEGEX’s spot market and HUDEX Gas
2021 was a year of records in gas markets, both in spot and derivatives segments
CEEGEX reached 30 372 GWh GWh traded volume in 2021. The most successful month for CEEGEX in 2021 was December when it hit record heights with the monthly volume of 3.79 TWh. The Hungarian gas spot exchange welcomed 5 new members last year.
In 2021 CEEGEX will continue its work towards becoming the reference market in the CSEE region and go on contributing to the development and liquidity of the Hungarian and regional gas markets.
The total traded volume of HUDEX Hungarian Derivative Energy Exchange’s Natural Gas Market in 2021 achieved a 38% increased to 965 GWh compared to the 700 GWh realized in 2020. The highest turnover month was March with 235 GWh traded volume. The number of admitted members was 22 by the end of the year.
