The 2020 annual trading results of CEEGEX’s spot market – Hungarian MGP

CEEGEX reached 23 444 GWh traded volume in 2020 and ACER reclassified the Hungarian MGP to emerging hub. The most successful month for CEEGEX in 2020 was May when it hit record heights with the monthly volume of 2 401 GWh. The Hungarian gas spot exchange also welcomed 6 new members in 2020.

In 2021 CEEGEX will continue its work towards becoming the reference market in the CSEE region and go on contributing to the development and liquidity of the Hungarian and regional gas markets.
