2022 annual trading results
Annual report is available
CEEGEX reached 26 012 GWh traded volume in 2022. The most successful month for CEEGEX in 2022 was November with the monthly volume of 3.64 TWh. In this month it hit records in the daily traded volume with 545.9 GWh and in the weekly traded volume as well with 1.26 TWh.
The Hungarian gas spot exchange welcomed 8 new members last year, therefore it had 46 partners, which is all time high.
In 2022 CEEGEX will continue its work towards becoming the reference market in the CEE and SEE region and contributing to the development and liquidity of the Hungarian and regional gas markets.
In addition, in 2023 we work further on the development of the certificate markets enhancing energy transition. One of the milestones was the publication of the first market monitoring report of the Energy Efficiency Obligation Scheme (EKR) in November 2022, which was produced in cooperation with HUPX Ltd.
